Breakfast at the Next Level – SOL Results

Today, Oscar Jarmakani and Jessica Punch had the great pleasure of meeting Dr James Muecke (Australian of the Year 2020) at the Breakfast at the Next Level event hosted by SOL Results.   Dr Muecke spoke about his incredible journey through life and his inspirational vision to fight the leading cause of blindness in adults – type 2 diabetes – in Australia and around the world. 

Dr Muecke also spoke about the importance of building resilience through difficult times and shared 3 tips with the audience:

• Embrace every opportunity that comes you way
• Always give back in whatever way you can
• Continue to broaden your horizons

Dr Muecke is the co-founder of Sight for All - a social impact organisation aiming to create a world where everyone can see.
