Annabel Nettle celebrates 5 years at DMAW Lawyers

DMAW Lawyers congratulates associate Annabel Nettle on achieving 5 years of service at DMAW Lawyers.

Annabel joined our disputes and litigation practice 2019 as a law graduate and has been an integral part of the team ever since.

Annabel assists with a wide range of litigious and non-litigious commercial matters and has particular experience in insolvency and debt recovery and construction matters.

Annabel also provides assistance to our corporate team with a focus on transaction due diligence and intellectual property law.

To celebrate, we asked Annabel to share 5 highlights from her time at the firm.

The people at DMAW Lawyers are certainly a highlight. Over the past 5 years I’ve made lifelong friends and have worked with incredible colleagues and mentors.

I’ve really enjoyed the varied work and have been lucky enough to be exposed to a wide range of matters across the firm. A highlight has been winning a bankruptcy case before the Court of Appeal.

The biannual fee earners conference is always something to look forward to. It’s great to spend some time out of the office in a more relaxed environment while learning about the firm, yourself and your teammates.

Moving into our new office in 2021 has seen an increase in collaboration, which I’ve enjoyed. The open plan environment has been refreshing and motivating.

Another highlight has been my involvement in the firm’s Charity Committee. It’s been great being able to give back through our efforts as a group at work.
