Beyond Series with Bank of Queensland Adelaide

DMAW Lawyers was pleased to welcome Bank of Queensland (BOQ) Adelaide's Owner-Manager, Pino Galimi, and Business Development Manager, William Galimi, to speak recently as part of our Beyond series.

Having connected with DMAW Lawyers' Mario Pegoli through networking circles, Mario invited BOQ father and son duo William and Pino to speak to our team about their career journey's and what makes BOQ so unique.

With a long, successful career in banking (starting out as a teller), Pino jumped at the opportunity to buy a BOQ branch and put down roots in his home town of Adelaide. And who better to come on board as Business Development Manager than his father William, who spent years building and nurturing connections through various roles in the corporate world. Founded on a framework of family, with Pino's brother and mother-in-law also in the business, the team considers every single one of their employees family.

Pino and William spoke about their passion for serving the South Australian community and how BOQ's Owner-Manager model allows them to understand their customers, build long-term relationships and deliver personal service. William also shared a bit about his approach to business development, reminding us all of the importance of face-to-face communication.
