Beyond the Office 2026
Our legal and management teams recently came together in Victor Harbor for our 2026 Beyond the Office (BTO) conference at McCracken Resort in Victor Harbor. The conference was an opportunity to step away from day-to-day practice, connect as one collaborative team and focus on the future of the firm.
The conference combined strategy, professional development and team-building activities, creating space for meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives and stronger connections across the business.
A highlight of the program was a presentation from entrepreneur Eloise Hall, co-founder of Taboo Period Products, who shared her journey from high school student to successful business founder. Her insights into innovation, leadership and social enterprise sparked thoughtful questions and discussion from our team.
We also spent time working through DMAW Lawyers’ 2026–2028 Strategic Plan, focusing on the firm’s continued growth, direction and long-term vision. Interactive sessions throughout the conference encouraged open discussion, collaboration and reflection on the opportunities ahead for both the firm and its people.
Alongside the formal sessions, the conference included a range of social and team activities, from friendly competition on the putting green to a team dinner at The Flying Fish in Port Elliot, reinforcing the strong relationships and culture that underpin the firm.
The BTO conference reflects DMAW Lawyers’ ongoing commitment to investing in our people, fostering collaboration and creating an environment that enables both clients and staff to thrive.
