DMAW Lawyers attends AHA|SA Women in Hotels Network Lunch

On behalf of DMAW Lawyers, Abby-Rose Hill and Chloe Katzer were pleased to attend the AHA|SA Women in Hotels Network Lunch last week. The event provided an inspiring afternoon of connection, conversation, and insights, featuring an exceptional line-up of speakers who shared perspectives on leadership, resilience, culture, and creating opportunities for women.

Hosted by award-winning South Australian journalist Rebecca Morse, the program included a fireside chat with sport executives Bridgid Koenig, CEO of Glenelg Football Club, Melanie MacGillivray, CEO of Adelaide Lightning, and Bronwyn Klei, CEO of Netball SA and Adelaide Thunderbirds. Titled “Leading Under Pressure: What Business Can Learn from Elite Sport”, the discussion explored leadership under pressure, organisational culture, customer experience, resilience, and the development of high-performing teams.

Attendees also enjoyed Q&A sessions with special guests Stephanie McConaghy, Founder and Feng Shui Consultant at Nine Lemons Feng Shui, and Natasha Stott Despoja AO, Australian politician, diplomat, gender equality advocate and author.

The networking session offered a valuable chance to connect with others in the hospitality industry and provided a great opportunity to discuss the importance of strong leadership, supportive networks and creating opportunities for women to learn from and champion one another.
