2024 Meritas ANZ two-week lawyer exchange

Over the past few years, DMAW Lawyers has participated in Australasia's first single law office lawyer exchange program with Meritas.

Meritas developed this program to offer lawyers in its member firms a taste of working in another city. The initiative helps build relationships and also fosters an exchange of best practice between firms on everything from matter management to training.

Last year, we had the pleasure of hosting senior associate Kiren Narayan from Meritas partner firm Martelli McKegg (NZ) while lawyer Stephanie Maurangi spent her two-week exchange with Meritas partner firm Madgwicks (VIC).

When asked by Lawyers Weekly about her experience with the program, Stephanie said it was valuable to work on some matters outside her practice area.

This year will see DMAW Lawyers', Abby-Rose Hill head to Sydney firm Swaab in September, while we host Swaab's Carly Lennan here in Adelaide.
