DMAW Lawyers attend and present at ACC SA’s In-House Counsel Day 2026
As a proud sponsor of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) (SA division) DMAW Lawyers were delighted to attend and present at ACC SA's Adelaide In-House Counsel Day (IHCD) for 2026, held this year at The Sanctuary at Adelaide Zoo.
We were pleased to present our panel session "Ethical Challenges in Corporate Practice: Lessons from the Frontline" featuring experts Georgie Johnston (Partnered Health), Peter de Cure AM (Tax Practitioners Board) and Paul Lagozzino (BAE Systems Australia). Facilitated by DMAW Lawyers’ Tasha Naige, the session explored the ethical challenges facing in-house counsel today – examining real-world dilemmas, from confidentiality and conflicts to regulator engagement and commercial pressures, sharing practical insights for navigating these challenges.
A big thank you to our panellists for giving their time and contributing their expertise to help make our panel session a success. It was rewarding to see such strong audience engagement and thoughtful reflection on the complex, often grey areas that arise in practice.
As always, IHCD created a great platform for sharing perspectives, connecting with peers and strengthening connections within the in-house legal community. Well done to the other presenters and to the ACC SA Committee for planning another excellent event.
