DMAW Lawyers’ hosts ACC (SA): 'Regulatory Priorities 2026 and Beyond: ACCC Enforcement Outlook'

DMAW Lawyers were pleased to host Association of Corporate Counsel Australia (ACC) (SA division) members for an exclusive CPD session, Regulatory Priorities 2026 and Beyond: ACCC Enforcement Outlook with special guest expert panelists Kate Durand (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)), Matt Murphy (Anthony Mason Chambers), Tammy Harrington (Elders) and Paul Dugan (DMAW Lawyers).

Facilitated by DMAW Lawyers’ Patrick Kerin, this session explored key areas of focus for the ACCC in FY 25/26, understanding what these priorities could mean in practice for businesses navigating a dynamic competition and consumer law landscape.

The panel offered practical context on regulatory expectations, industry behaviours under scrutiny, and how enforcement strategies are likely to play out, with consideration for how in-house teams can respond, including proactive steps to ensure legal, compliance and commercial functions are aligned when it comes to regulatory readiness.

Guests enjoyed networking, drinks and nibbles upon arrival, followed by formalities. DMAW Lawyers would like to thank our expert panelists for providing a valuable exchange of practical insights, and thank you also to our guests for attending and helping to make the session a success.
