DMAW Lawyers attend the Zahra Foundation's Changemaker Event
Seva Surmei and Tasha Naige were pleased to attend the Zahra Foundation's Changemaker Event on behalf of DMAW Lawyers.
The Zahra Foundation partnered with Raiise for an inspiring evening of of social impact at Sanctuary Adelaide Zoo. Guests enjoyed drinks and nibbles while networking with a room of corporate leaders, sporting legends and policy makers, all eager to become changemakers in their communities and have the confidence to speak openly about gendered violence.
As emceed by Alexis McKay, the line up for the evening included a panel of business and sporting leaders including Andrew Bills (CEO, SA Power Networks), Leah Cassidy (CEO, Sport SA), Ross Wait (Director, Raiise) and Arman Abrahimzadeh (Founder, Zahra Foundation), who were joined by guest speaker Charlotte (Charlie) Grant, international footballer of Matilda's & Tottenham Hotspur fame, who discussed and raised awareness for the critical issue of gendered and domestic violence in our community.
