HAS Foundation care pack packing day

Bernice Witkowski, Sharon Osmond and Melinda Dawson were proud to represent DMAW Lawyers at the HAS Foundation's care pack packing day, held at The Healthy Living Precinct.

The HAS Foundation provides bespoke care packs to every family referred to the Women’s and Children’s Palliative Care Service. They also send out seasonal gifts to paediatric palliative care families in need.

Our team (along with some of their family members) helped put together these care packages, filled with nurturing items for the whole family. These care packs are designed to make life somewhat easier for paediatric palliative care families and their journey a little bit more supported.

Thank you to the HAS Foundation for allowing us to contribute to your organisation's invaluable work.

What is the HAS Foundation?

The HAS Foundation was created, to provide financial and emotional support to children, living with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Whether it’s paying for a photographer to take precious family photos, buying the paediatric palliative care team quality linen so they can make sick kids more comfortable, or preparing care packs for families admitted to palliative care; everything the HAS Foundation does is designed to make their life somewhat easier, at the hardest of times.
