Jodi Lee Foundation International Women's Day Luncheon

Seva Surmei, Tasha Naige and Maggie Wong were pleased to attend the Jodi Lee Foundation's International Women's Day Lunch for 2024 with our valued guests.

Guests enjoyed a long lunch in the Ian McLachlan room at Adelaide Oval and heard from a panel of remarkable women who each shared their personal stories of breakdowns that have lead to extraordinary breakthroughs.

In particular, guests were left inspired by key note speaker Jelena Dokic, who shared her story of resilience, speaking courageously about her experiences with domestic violence, mental health and triumph in the face of adversity.

The event also reminded guests of the importance of regular screening for the early detection and prevention of Bowel Cancer. Jodi Lee Foundation's CEO Nick Lee implored that while Bowel Cancer is one of the biggest cancer killers in 25-34 year olds, up to 99% of cases can be treated or prevented with early detection.

Congratulations to the Jodi Lee Foundation on the success of their inaugural event, boasting over 350 guests and an outstanding line-up of powerful speakers. Thank you also to our guests for taking time out of their day to join us.
