R U OK? Day 2024
DMAW Lawyers encouraged staff to connect for R U OK? Day 2024 by holding a morning tea to help raise awareness for and reduce the impact of depression, anxiety, and suicide.
For the morning tea, staff were encouraged to wear yellow and enjoyed yellow fruits, melting moments and Portuguese tarts in recognition of the cause.
Staff also viewed a R U OK? Day video which served as an important reminder to ask R U OK any day because a conversation can change a life.
What is R U OK?
R U OK? is a national suicide prevention charity and registered public health promotion that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times.
