Chris Floreani celebrates 10 years with DMAW Lawyers

Chris Floreani celebrates 10 years of delivering commercial outcomes for his clients at DMAW Lawyers.

Over the past decade, Chris has become a valued Principal and leader within our transactions team, advising clients on complex transactions, financing arrangements and commercial matters across a broad range of industries.

Tasha Naige has worked closely with Chris over the years and reflects on the contribution he makes to both his clients and colleagues.

It’s been a pleasure working with Chris over the years – he’s an incredibly hard worker, a generous mentor for junior lawyers and a genuinely great colleague. He’s my go-to expert for anything financing-related and someone who always advocates strongly for his clients.

Chris specialises in mergers & acquisitions and acts for clients across a variety of sectors, including mining, financial services, energy, manufacturing, property and agribusiness.

He also has extensive experience in banking & finance, advising project sponsors, equity investors and financiers on major energy and infrastructure projects in Australia and internationally. His experience includes significant public private partnerships, the Hinkley Point C nuclear power project in the UK and the acquisition of the TransGrid electricity transmission network from the NSW Government.

Chris also advises on corporate transactions and general commercial and contractual matters for a broad range of clients, including some of South Australia’s largest businesses.

Chris’ contribution to DMAW Lawyers extends beyond his client work. He is a committed mentor who takes an active role in developing the lawyers he works with.
