DMAW Lawyers attend SIDS and Kids SA & Red Tree Foundation: Thank You Event

Irini Kourakis and Stephanie Dugan were pleased to attend the SIDS and Kids SA and Red Tree Foundation Corporate Supporter Thank You Event on behalf of DMAW Lawyers.

The event was a meaningful opportunity to connect with fellow supporters and hear firsthand about the profound impact these organisations continue to have on South Australian families. We were honoured to hear from Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, as well as representatives from Red Tree Foundation and SIDS and Kids SA, who shared powerful insights into how community support and donations translate into real, tangible assistance for those experiencing unimaginable loss. Hearing about the reach and importance of these services reinforced the value of ongoing community and corporate support.

SIDS and Kids SA
SIDS and Kids SA is dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of safe sleep guidelines through education, information, and advocacy, with the goal of reducing deaths from SIDS and sleep-related accidents. The organisation also empowers the community to make informed, safe sleep decisions for the infants in their care.

Red Tree Foundation
Red Tree Foundation, an initiative of SIDS and Kids SA, provides vital grief support services for families, including free professional grief counselling and bereavement support to those affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or child, from conception up to 17 years of age. In addition, the foundation offers education, training, and information about grief and loss to help foster a more compassionate, empathetic, and informed community.

DMAW Lawyers is proud to have supported Red Tree Foundation through our Culture and Community Committee, including hosting a morning tea in 2025 to raise awareness and funds for their important work.
