DMAW Lawyers attend HAS Foundation Mother's Day Luncheon

A group of staff and esteemed guests recently attended the HAS Foundation's Mother's Day Luncheon on behalf of DMAW Lawyers.

It was great to be a part of this worthwhile event and to enjoy a wonderful luncheon, while supporting HAS Foundation's valuable work in caring for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Tutti Arts' "Thank God It's Friday" vocal ensemble kicked things off and set the tone for what truly was a moving event. The day was MC'd by Channel Seven's Rosanna Mangiarelli with special guest speakers Sally and Imogen from The Good Mourning Podcast, who shared their story about how grief brought their lives together in an unexpected way.

Through their fundraising efforts including a live auction, French champagne wall and a long lineup of raffle prizes, the HAS foundation were able to raise over $130,000 - an amazing achievement.

What is the HAS Foundation?

The HAS Foundation was created, to provide financial and emotional support to children, living with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Whether it’s paying for a photographer to take precious family photos, buying the paediatric palliative care team quality linen so they can make sick kids more comfortable, or preparing care packs for families admitted to palliative care; everything the HAS Foundation does is designed to make their life somewhat easier, at the hardest of times.
