Sliding Doors Foundation Opening Opportunities Fundraiser 2024

Chris Floreani, Seva Surmei and Bernice Witkowski recently represented DMAW Lawyers at the Sliding Doors Foundation Opening Opportunities Fundraiser for 2024.

It was a fantastic afternoon and a great opportunity for industry leaders from some of South Australia's best businesses to enjoy Adelaide Oval’s hospitality in support of an excellent cause.

Guests were invited to help 'open opportunities' for young people by raising funds for Sliding Doors Foundation in an afternoon of drinks, nibbles and networking, hosted by AFL football commentator and presenter, Tom Rehn.

The event line-up included an inspiring keynote speech from Liza Pavlakos, who shared her story about overcoming significant adversity and numerous obstacles in her personal life and a Q&A with former Port Adelaide Football Club captain, Tom Jonas, who has utilised his leadership skills of dedication and perseverance that defined his time as captain, to overcome numerous obstacles navigating a new career.

DMAW Lawyers would like to congratulate Sliding Doors Foundation on an excellent event and the important work they are doing to help provide talented young people with the resources they need to succeed academically and professionally to become the standout leaders of tomorrow.
